Posted by Danielle Cloe on Nov 12, 2012 12:00:00 AM

On October 26th, 2012, the staff at Dymin Systems celebrated Halloween in style! Our staff dressed as Zombies for the day, plus we were invited our customers to join the fun and visit us in their Halloween costumes. We even passed out free tickets to the Sleepy Hollow Haunted Scream Park in Des Moines! The staff had tons of fun and we got plenty of practice with makeup and special effects. A big thanks to all who participated!

Hands on with Dymin Systems

Posted by Danielle Cloe on Aug 8, 2012 12:00:00 AM
Rock the Block gave Dymin employees a unique opportunity to help multiple families in the Des Moines area. Habitat for Humanity’s community renovation campaign aims to improve existing homes with maintenance and repair items like roof repair, weatherization like window replacement, and home preservation/beautification projects like painting. Replacing windows, and building stair railings were among the projects our crew of seven completed on July 24th, 2012.

Des Moines Computer Systems company helps it's emplyees perk up

Posted by Danielle Cloe on Apr 4, 2012 12:00:00 AM

Some of the most unique and appreciated employee perks go a little outside of the norm, and border on the unusual. You’ll even find that a lot of them have some hidden benefits to the employer.

One local company offers their employees a “cab card”. You aren’t familiar with this idea?  Not too many are. Employees carry around the cab card, and after a long night, and a few too many cocktails, they call the number on the card to arrange for a taxi; the company gets the bill, and everyone gets home safely.

Des Moines Computer Systems Company Climbs to the Top

Posted by Danielle Cloe on Mar 5, 2012 12:00:00 AM

The American Lung Association gives its supporters a unique opportunity to “go vertical” at their annual Fight for Air Climb.  The climbs, which take place all across the nation, raise funds for research, education and advocacy to fight lung disease.  Dymin Systems’ team members got their first taste of the 67-flight climb in Downtown Des Moines.  Eight members of the Dymin crew spent a month and a half raising over $1,300 for the organization before proudly climbing to the top of 3 Des Moines skyscrapers.  Truly an event we’ll look forward to taking part in for years to come.

Did you ever wonder what 2 months of fundraising and 1,179 steps gets you?  For me, it was a gasping, stumbling finish at the 2012 Fight for Air Climb.
